At Earth's Courier, the environment plays a large role in the way business is done. Due to the nature of our business we are determined to provide exceptional delivery service with the least amount of environmental impact.

Earth's Courier promotes and pursues environmentally friendly alternatives through the use of Bio-Diesel fuel, recycled materials and renewable energy to the overall minimization of company waste.

Bio-Diesel

Bio-Diesel is a domestically produced, renewable fuel that can be manufactured from vegetable oils, animal fats, or recycled restaurant grease. Bio-diesel is safe, biodegradable, and reduces serious air pollutants such as particulates, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and air toxins.

Bio-Diesel can be mixed with regular diesel fuel creating different mixtures such as B20 where 20% of the mixture consists of bio-diesel and 80% regular diesel. Earth's Courier uses bio-diesel mixtures as high as B100 made from recycled restaurant grease from various restaurants around Calgary.

The table below displays how Bio-Diesel fuel can limit the amount of harmful emissions. Even a lower mixture such as B20 has a tremendous impact on the environment.
